Frugal Fashion Layout

Hi, now that the concerts and recitals are over, I can focus on my Paper Crafting again.
I am taking Frugal Fashion in 4-H. It is a project where you shop consignment and thrift stores to put together an outfit that looks great but is at the most cost effective prices.
So I found a darling dress at JCPenney's on sale for $1.47, then a Pink Liz Claiborne purse for $3.99 at Goodwill, along with Hot Pink between the toe sandles with a big flower on them that matches my dress for 2.99. So what a bargain of an outfit that looks great! (Photos of it coming later)

So I needed to show my receipts so I decided to do a scrapbook page to do so.
I used the Forever Young for my lady and then added some extra flowers to her dress, and also for the "fashion" word.
Preserves for my tags and my Frugal is from Gypsy font.

I am really pleased as how it came out.

Please leave a comment and let me know what you think!

What's Going On Here At Princess and the Paper!

Hey! I haven't updated for a while, so I am today. A video is uploading on YouTube, and it is part of a special challenge I'll have on later. Please be aware that if you enter a challenge and email it to me, I can put it in my Designer Gallery. Some other things I'm going to talk about are some new things we'll be doing. I might be getting a playlist, so please, if you want to, listen to that when it gets on the blog. Be aware that I love country music. :) Also, after every 10 videos, we have a celebration, so when we reach video #10, in any series, then we have challenges and fun projects I will post. I'm so sorry I can't do giveaways. I would really love to. Stay Royal Papercrafters!

My Pink Stamper NSD Challenge #8 ~ "Love my Color"

Here's my MPS Challenge #8 entry. I used a cute patterned paper, and Forever Young. My neutral colors are gray and black, and my main color is purple. I used flower ribbon, and the swiss dots cuttlebug folder.

My Pink Stamper NSD Challenge #12 ~ "Critter-licious"

THis is my entry for CHallenge #12 "Critter-licious. When I saw the challenge and the giveaway, I had to enter. I absolutely had to use Create-a-Critter. I used the Lion cut at 4", and the roar is cut at 1 1/2". I used yellow studio G glitter glue on the yellow parts of "Roar". This can be any kind of card. B-day, get well, whatever, but originally, I planned a boy birthday.

NOT a Good Day for You Tube

Sorry for no videos.  I spend 5 hours uploading and then got an error.  I will try it later this morning.
Again I am so sorry, I have three to upload!  And couldn't get the first one last night let alone all three!
Have fun finishing the My Pink Stamper Challenges, my mother and I are still working on ours!

Sorry about the wait!

I have been gone all day today, and the battery in my camera keeps running down. I have a great idea for my next video, but since it is taking a while, I'll start a new challenge. They all end on Tuesday. Use Stretch Your Imagination in this one. Or, you can use Preserves. Email me directions and the recipe, comment on this post, AND post your creation on you blog. If you entered Once Upon a Princess, comment with your blog's link.

Happy National Scrapbook Day!!!

Hi everyone! Let's start today with a challenge using the cartridge Once Upon a Princess. Make whatever you want, and I'll have mine posted later when I get the chance. There will be a challenge about every 3 hours, because I have a couple things I'm doing today, so that's why. Post your card or layout on your blog, including instructions to make it. Then, email  me at jillianvance@embarqmail.com. Bye! Happy Crafting!
