Boo!

Hello, everyone! Jillian here. Today's card is a quick and simple Halloween card that I really, really love! It doesn't take much time to make but is super cute. I love the subtle boos and the little creature poking out of the black hole. I cut a circle in the middle of the white background and added the googly eyes to make it look like something spooky was looking through! This card doesn't take very long to make, but the end product is so adorable!

Check out the recipe below.

Christmas Blessings - Christmas in July!

Hey, everyone! Jillian here. Today I have a super simple, adorable Christmas card! For 2 of the Christmas balls, I used the Basic Circle Backdrop Die, but for one of them, I just used the center from the French Horn die! It's a great way to take scraps and put them to use! It's such an adorable card and so easy. Make sure to check out the AJVD recipe below to see what other goodies from my line I used!

Happy Birthday America!

Hello, everyone! It's Jillian here. As you probably know, tomorrow is the 4th of July in America, a very important holiday for all of us over in the USA! I hope everyone celebrating has a great time with friends and family! Today I have an Independence Day themed card for you all! I used a lot of white, especially because I wanted to use stars but I wanted a subtle background, so I placed the white stars on that white background. Using the Scattered Stars Strip die as an accent is such a great way to use the die. The small stars can be poked out and used as really cute accents or confetti in your projects! Below you can see all of the
A Jillian Vance Design products used and the non-AJVD products.

Graduation Thank You/Life Update

Hello, everyone, Jillian here. I've been pretty absent from this blog because I was finishing up my senior year of high school (crazy, I know!) It doesn't really feel like it since I've been taking college classes full time for the past couple of years, but I am so excited to start a new adventure. I've been finishing up with awards ceremonies this week, and prom is Saturday, with graduation the Sunday after that! I can't believe that everything is almost over, but I am so glad that I'm done with high school. It's been a weird experience for me, and I have to say that I'm so blessed and so grateful for my college classes. I have met incredible friends, had the opportunity to grow so much more than I thought I could in high school, and have truly felt like I've been accepted into a community that is Mount Vernon Nazarene University. Here are some photos from my awards ceremonies!
Ready my last High School Awards Celebration ~ I had 4 this year!

Honored to earn the AMVETS  Ladies Aux. Scholarship

Mr. Sam Barone, Leader of the Knox County Community Foundation Youth Philanthropy Initiative, I loved awarding grant to deserving organizations for the youth of our community!

Mom and Dad who have loved and supported me and all my ideas and dreams all my life!

Mrs. Jackie Earnest, my high school guidance counselor who encouraged me to reach for the stars!

I received my 3rd academic letter as well as one
of three scholarship winners from the Academic Booster Club of Mount Vernon High School.

I was also awarded the Delta Kappa Gamma Mary K. Scoles Scholarship.

I am so honored to have been so blessed!

Okay, now onto the project. In this crazy time of receiving scholarships and planning my graduation party, I've been working on thank you cards for the donors who allowed the scholarships I received to happen, as well as those who are attending my party and giving me gifts or whatever it may be to help me along in my journey to Italy with MVNU's art department next year. This is just a simple thank you card that is super adorable! My school colors are black and orange, but you could alter the hues so that they match your high school/college's colors! Below is a full recipe of AJVD products as well as other products that I used.
